Meet Studio Minofmeer
Narrative-driven design
Minofmeer believes design should adapt—sometimes less (MIN), sometimes more (MEER). Rejecting one-size-fits-all solutions, the studio crafts story-driven designs shaped by context and opportunity. Through research and prototyping, Minofmeer transforms ideas into lasting creations, embracing change and curiosity to shape thoughtful, globally inspired work.
Biography
In 2014, Riaan Burger moved to Taiwan to study Chinese and Industrial Design, immersing himself in a culture where craftsmanship, materiality, and adaptability play a central role. This experience shaped his perspective on design—not as a fixed formula but as a responsive and evolving process.
Inspired by this philosophy, he founded Minofmeer in 2017, built on the idea that design should be circumstantial—sometimes requiring less (MIN) and sometimes more (MEER). The studio embraces adaptability, balancing simplicity and complexity to create solutions that are both intentional and dynamic.
